Newcastle United had a big rise this weekend, who have moved from 11th to 8th. They beat Arsenal last week, which seems to have boosted their morale. Will they be able to return to their best ranking (3rd) this season? Let’s wait and see.
Forest, who just climbed to 3rd, dropped back to 5th this week, but it was Aston Villa and Tottenham who slipped the most, both dropping 3 places, and moved to 9th and 10th respectively.

Looking Ahead: Key Predictions for the Round 11
Manchester City: A Twisted Path to the Title
Manchester City have endured four consecutive defeats in all competitions, but the next fixture schedule is even more of a challenge for them. In the coming fixtures, City will have to fight against Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Forest, Manchester United and Aston Villa respectively. Each of these clubs is not to be underestimated.
City have won the Premier League title for the past two seasons, and if they want to continue their winning ways this season, they should either adjust their form or take the opportunity of the winter transfer window to buy more suitable players.
Man Utd: New Coach May Bring Turnaround
United have been rumoured to be appointing Amorim as their new manager after sacking Ten Hag last week, and this has now been confirmed. He will start his first game in charge of United after the international week. Previously, under Ten Hag, United lost four games in the Premier League and did not look good in the standings. United will deal with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Forest in their upcoming matches. This is a lot of pressure for Amorim to coach, but maybe he can bring changes to United.
