Caoimhin Kelleher – 8: Kelleher showed why he is one of the best backup goalkeepers in the world. His penalty save against Mbappe was typical of his composure and ability to step up when needed.
Conor Bradley – 8: With Trent Alexander-Arnold missing, Bradley filled in brilliantly. He created the opening goal for Mac Allister and put in a solid defensive shift, including a great challenge on Mbappe.
Ibrahima Konate – 7.5: Konate was a rock at the back. He was strong, dominant, and always in control. His injury at the end of the match was concerning, but his performance was top-notch.
Virgil van Dijk – 7.5: Despite being 33, van Dijk made the game look easy. He wasn’t troubled at all by the likes of Mbappe, showing his class at the back.
Andy Robertson – 6.5: Robertson had an up-and-down game. He made a silly foul on Lucas Vazquez, giving Madrid a chance to get back into the match, but his assist for Gakpo’s goal was a perfect delivery.
Ryan Gravenberch – 7.5: Gravenberch stood out in midfield, showing he could handle the pressure of playing as a No.6. He was excellent on the ball and put Madrid’s midfield under constant pressure.
Curtis Jones – 7.5: Jones has been improving steadily. In this match, he was dynamic, involved in the opening goal, and showcased his dribbling ability.
