Next, Young faced Abu Makkah from Saudi Arabia. He secured his spot in the finals with a 7-2 victory. In the final, Young faced Portugal’s Jafonso in a tough match. Despite his best efforts, Young lost 6-2, taking second place and earning $150,000.
Although Young finished as the runner-up in the EA FC 24 competition, his performance was outstanding. With EA games potentially featuring in future esports events like the Olympics, we might see Young and other Brazilian talents return to Saudi Arabia in pursuit of more titles.
