FORT WORTH – TCU has announced its nonconference schedule for the upcoming men’s basketball season, which will tip off on Monday, Nov. 4, with a home game against Florida A&M at Schollmaier Arena. This year, the Horned Frogs will host 17 games at their home arena, including 10 contests as part of their Big 12 Conference slate.

In addition to their season opener against Florida A&M, TCU will welcome several other nonconference opponents to Fort Worth, including Alcorn State, Florida Gulf Coast, Montana State, South Alabama, Texas State, and Xavier. The highly anticipated matchup against Xavier is part of the Big 12/Big EAST Battle, which has been rescheduled to Dec. 5, one day earlier than originally planned.

Earlier this summer, TCU’s Big 12 Conference opponents were revealed, featuring home games against traditional conference powers such as Kansas, Baylor, and Texas Tech, as well as matchups with BYU, UCF, Colorado, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Utah, and West Virginia. Details regarding the complete Big 12 schedule, including game times and television network coverage, will be provided later.

Last season, TCU enjoyed one of its most successful campaigns in the Big 12, tying for its best finish ever with a 9-9 conference record, good for fifth place. Head coach Jamie Dixon, now entering his ninth season with the Horned Frogs, aims to build on this momentum. The team is led by returning starter Ernest Udeh Jr., who will play a key role as TCU looks to continue its success. Notably, the Horned Frogs made history last season by qualifying for the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive year, a first for the program.

Fans eager to see TCU in action can renew their season tickets through the TCU Ticket Office. Additionally, tickets are currently on sale for TCU’s Dec. 8 game against Vanderbilt at Dickies Arena, available through the Dickies Arena Box Office.
