The Allegations Behind the Sedona Prince Petition

Leah Cole started the petition on August 14. This happened after Prince’s ex-girlfriend, Olivia Stabler, made serious allegations on TikTok.

Stabler posted a 10-part video series about a recent trip to Mexico for Prince’s birthday. In the videos, she claims she experienced abuse during the trip. And, this video had been seen by her 700,000 followers,

Stabler accused Prince of pushing her off an ATV and leaving her in the jungle near their resort. She also claimed that when Prince returned in the ATV, she flipped it over and pushed Stabler when she tried to help.

Sedona Prince’s Response

In response to these accusations, Prince issued a statement on Instagram which now is hidden. She condemed the strong backlash against her and her family online.

The 24-year-old athlete stated,

“The hate, bullying, and death threats directed at my family, friends, and me are dangerous, irresponsible, and deeply disturbing.”

Prince concluded her statement by saying she would not comment further on the matter and that any additional responses would come from her legal team.

Meanwhile, Prince aims to shift the focus back to basketball. She is getting ready for the upcoming season at Texas Christian University in the Big 12 Conference. Last year, she performed well, averaging 19.7 points and 9.7 rebounds per game.

Standing at 6 feet 7 inches, Prince has a remarkable career in college basketball. She previously played for the Oregon Ducks in the Pac-12 Conference and the Texas Longhorns in the Big 12. Born in Hemet, California, she grew up in Liberty Hill, Texas, and discovered her love for basketball in the fourth grade.

Her talent showed early, as Texas offered her a college basketball invitation while she was still in eighth grade. Prince also gained national recognition, representing the U.S. Women’s Under-19 National Team at the 2018 FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championship. However, a leg injury kept her from playing this season.

In 2021, Prince was selected for the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup finals and made the official roster in June. Despite her personal life being tumultuous, she remains focused on her basketball career. However, the ongoing controversy could have legal implications for the young athlete.

As the case gains attention, it remains to be seen how Prince will balance her professional ambitions with personal life challenges.
