The final of the Women’s Floor Exercise just ended on Monday. Each of the outstanding female athletes played their hearts out on the field. Unfortunately, the number of medals was limited. In the end, it was the three top gymnasts who won them. They were Rebeca Andrade, Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles.
Rebeca Andrade won the gold medal and stood on the top podium Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles were behind her with silver and bronze medals respectively. During the presentation of the awards, the two female athletes made a bow for the photo to show their respect and congratulations to Andrade.

The comment immediately sparked widespread debate. humphrey had no shortage of supporters to back up his comments, but many more felt offended. Why did he say that, it was supposed to be a touching scene.
Subsequently, Michelle Obama, wife of the former US president, defended the photo. She believed the photo showed the lovely instance of sisterhood and sportsmanship and the women are always full of love and unity.
After Michelle Obama came forward, Humphrey defended what he said. He claimed that sportsmen always respect their opponents in the game. Maybe he thinks this kind of photo is totally just for show.
But either way, I’m glad to see three wonderful women standing on the podium and helping each other off it as well. It was a unique moment of unity and honour for women.
