Event Overview
The 2024 US Olympic Wrestling Trials will take place in State College, Pennsylvania, from April 19 to 20, and will feature the top wrestlers in the country competing for a spot on Team USA. The event, featuring wrestlers competing in various weight classes, including 62 kg, 87 kg, and 97 kg, will be a crucial step in determining the U.S. Olympic Team for the 2024 Paris Olympics. It will be a showcase for the talent and depth of the U.S. wrestling program.
Olympic Team Trials Brackets
Olympic team trials are an important event because they offer a fair showcase for every player, giving them an equitable opportunity to show their capabilities. And that’s why we can usually see many emerging sports stars from the Olympic team trials.
The brackets of wrestling are usually decided by participants’ weight class. It usually ranges from 57 to 125 kilograms for men and 50 to 76 kilograms for women. Let’s look at together the brackets of US Olympic wrestling trials.

The challenge tournament winners will advance to the best-of-three championship series and the winners of the best-of-three championship series will secure a spot on the Olympic Team.

Players in the qulification have to compete with each other and the winner can enter the 1/4 final. They will battle it out with the second-rounders to qualify for the next round. Spencer Lee and Nico Megaludis will directly compete with each other for the third-round qualification. The winner from Liam Cronin or Jax Forrest will compete with Thomas Gilman.
